Two shooters in journalist's murder and Jharkhand criminal killed in UP encounters

Sitapur/Prayagraj, Aug 7 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) neutralized three wanted criminals in separate encounters today, including two shooters involved in the brutal murder of a journalist, and a Jharkhand gangster Chhotu Dhanbadia.
On Thursday morning, two prime accused in the murder of journalist Raghvendra Bajpai were killed in an encounter by the STF and local police in the Pisawan area of Sitapur. SP Ankur Agarwal said the STF had received intelligence on the movement of the suspects and had set up a checkpoint.
As the two suspects, who were identified as brothers, arrived on a motorcycle, they opened fire on being stopped by the police. In retaliatory firing, both were critically injured and later declared dead at the district hospital. They were identified as Rajju alias Rizwan and Sanjay alias Aqeel Khan, both residents of Atwa village in Mishrikh. Each carried a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on their head.
