Lucknow, Aug 18(UNI) Amid opposition attack over the deteriorating law and order situation during Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, the state police on Tuesday claimed that during this BJP regime of 42 months, around 124 criminals have been gunned down in various police encounters.
Countering the allegation of the Brahimins being targetted, the state police disclosed that among the criminals killed in the encounters, the highest 47 were Muslims, 11 Brahmins, 8 Yadavs and 58 others included Thakurs, Vaish, backwards and Dalits criminals.
