UP: AIMIM candidate beaten up in Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr, Oct 26 (UNI) All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) candidate Dilshad Ahmed was attacked in the Rukan Sarai area here, police said on Monday.
He was contacting people while campaigning on Sunday night when people from the Azad Samaj Party (ASP) allegedly engaged beat him up.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh here said that during the campaigning, the workers from the Azad Samaj Party, whose candidate is Haji Yameen, tore the clothes of AIMIM candidate Dilshad. The accused then beat up the AIMIM candidate who later fled to save his life.
