Retd UP assistant excise commissioner, wife held for corruption

Prayagraj, Oct 12(UNI) A former excise department official and his wife have been arrested on Monday on charges of disproportionate assets(DA) and other irregularities.

According to official sources here, retired assistant commissioner of excise Bharat Ratna Ashok and his wife Sudha Rani were arrested from their Beli road residence by the vigilance department of the state police .
