Hoshiarpur (Punjab), July 30 (UNI) Punjab police have achieved a major breakthrough in a blind murder case in Dasuya by arresting three suspects, including an army man, allegedly involved in the gruesome killing of Kulvir Singh of Panwa village.
The accused, identified as Kanish Kumar from Khan Khana (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar), Jaswinder Singh, alias Monu, and the army man Amandeep Singh, alias Aman, both from village Daffar, were apprehended after an intensive investigation that lasted 48 hours. The police recovered a motorbike and two sharp-edged weapons used in the crime from them.
According to SSP Surendra Lamba, three unidentified masked men riding a motorbike intercepted Kulvir Singh and Satwinder Singh from Bajwa village while they were on their way to Bajwa on their motorbike on July 26. Before fleeing, the trio launched a vicious assault on Kulvir Singh and Satwinder Singh, leaving both of them seriously injured.
