Advocate burnt alive after murder in Punjab

Hoshiarpur, Nov 23 (UNI) The incident of a senior advocate and his assistant being burnt alive in a car accident near Phagwara bypass chowk here on the night of November 14, 2020, took a turn towards murder on Monday, following the investigations of Model Town police.
According to police sources, senior lawyer Bhagwant Kishore Gupta (62) of local Model Town and his assistant Siya Khullar (37) of local Mount Enclave were killed by Siya's husband Ashish Kushwaha and his two accomplices Sunil Kumar and Rahul Kumar, alias Kapil of Manglore Buland Shehar, Delhi.
They were booked by the Model Town police under Sections 302, 201 and 120B of IPC for murdering Kishore and Siya.
