UP resident burglar arrested, stolen property recovered in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jul 22 (UN) A resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP) involved in a burglary case was arrested and stolen property worth lakhs recovered by police in Srinagar, a police spokesman said on Wednesday tonight.
He said on July 15 police station Nowhatta received information from one individual Bilal Ahmad Shah resident of lqbal Market Jamia Masjid that some unknown burglars have barged into his residential house and shop and have decamped with cash of Rs 1,95,800 and golden ornaments worth Rs two lakhs approximately
Accordingly, Case FIR No. 37/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Nowhatta and investigation was initiated.
