Haryana police nabs most wanted criminal from Sonipat

Chandigarh, Sep 2 (UNI) Haryana Police nabbed a most wanted criminal, carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 from Sonipat district and also recovered a country-made pistol and two cartridges from his possession.
Stating this here on Wednesday, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that about half-a-dozen cases pertaining to murder, attempt to murder, loot, theft and Arms Act were unearthed with his arrest.
Giving the details, he said that a CIA team during routine patrolling near Badwasni Canal bridge, had got a tip-off about the presence of Devender of Muzaffarnagar district (UP). Having illegal weapons, he was roaming in the area with an intention to commit another crime. Soon after getting the input, the team immediately swung into action and nabbed the accused along with illegal weapons, he further said.
