Haryana : Three held with 12000 banned tablets

Chandigarh, Apr 6 (UNI) Haryana Police has seized 12,000 banned tablets and arrested three persons who were in possession of the drugs in Sirsa district.
Police had arrested four people, including three Rajasthan residents, for drug peddling on Monday and had recovered 50,000 banned tablets from them.
A Haryana Police spokesperson on Tuesday informed that a team of Crime Investigation Agency during patrolling near Moriwala area had signaled a car to stop for checking. Instead of stopping the vehicle, the driver attempted to escape by taking a U-turn. On suspicion, police nabbed them and a search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 12,000 tablets, which fell under the category of banned drugs.
