Raipur, Oct 17 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday directed convening of a high-level meeting of state police officers with their Odisha counterparts for preventing ganja smuggling from the latter state.
Amid attacks by the opposition in the wake of the Jashpur district incident, Mr Baghel issued an order to Director General of Police DM Awasthi for drafting of a proper action plan, installation of closed-circuit television cameras at border check-posts and stationing of personnel for round-the-clock monitoring.
