Ease of Doing Business in UP earns praise of Singapore

Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) Expressing confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi, the High Commissioner of Singapore Simon Wong Wie Kuen has hoped that companies of his country will make more investments in Uttar Pradesh .
"I told the CM that we are impressed with the better connectivity and the Ease of Doing Business in UP after 2017,'' said the Singapore High Commissioner in his Hindi tweet after meeting the Chief Minister in the state capital on Saturday. Adding, he said "We have much confidence in the leadership of the CM and hope to make more investments in Uttar Pradesh."
Simon Wong Wie Kuen, the High Commissioner of Singapore,accompanied by the Deputy High Commissioner Ms Alice Cheng, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on Saturday and had a wide ranging discussion on the possibilities of investment in Uttar Pradesh. In all praise for the pro-industry policies of the UP government, he identified several sectors for investment and collaboration, officials here on Saturday said.

MSDE launches pilot projects to revive, promote Kashmir's traditional Namda Craft

Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, on Saturday launched two ambitious projects; ‘Revival of Namda craft of Kashmir as a special pilot project under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 3.0’ and ‘Upskilling of artisans and weavers of Kashmir under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), component of PMKVY.'
While launching the initiative, Chandrasekhar said India has a rich heritage and is home to several traditional art forms.
