Himachal: Hike in VAT on diesel increase state income by Rs 123 Crores

Shimla, Sep 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated in the state assembly on Wednesday the state has registered an increase in revenue to the tune of Rs 128 Crore after hike in the Value Added Tax on diesel.
The increase in the revenue is around Rs 40 Crores more than the previous year.
Replying to a query, the Chief Minister said that the state government has generated income of Rs 468.60 Crores from the VAT imposed on the diesel .

Punjab vigilance arrests 5 cooperative society employees for loan fraud
