No Cabinet member will step down on Oppn demand: Himachal CM

Shimla, Sep 7 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Monday that no member of his Cabinet would tender resignation as the government's efforts to handle the Covid situation was appreciated at the national level.
Intervening in the discussion on Opposition motion under rule 67 in the monsoon session of the Assembly that got underway on Monday, Mr Thakur said that while his government was fighting the pandemic, the opposition was busy politicising the issue to derive political advantage.
The CM said that he as great respect Mr Rajiv Bindal who set the tradition by quitting the BJP top post on high moral grounds after the PPE kit controversy. He said that Opposition which had no issues with Mr Bindal quitting the party posts, started the demand his CM resignation.

UP: Six get lifer for murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005
