UP cane dept working on betterment of farmers: Official

Lucknow, Jul 29 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Government is committed for the betterment and all-round development of sugarcane farmers, State Commissioner of Cane and Sugar Sanjay R Bhoosreddy said on Wednesday.

In this regard, several concrete steps have been taken by the Cane Development department in last three years to make sugarcane farmers self-reliant and to double their income by linking them with the latest scientific technology of sugarcane farming. Millions of sugarcane farmers of the state are benefiting from the efforts made by the department.
