Nearly 1500 metric tonnes of fertilisers delayed due to Rail bandh : HIMFED

Shimla, Oct 27(UNI) The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing and Consumers’ Federation Ltd on Wednesday claimed that around 1500 metric tonnes of fertilisers for Rabi crops have been delayed due to Railways bandh in Punjab and Haryana.
HIMFED Shimla Chairman Ganesh Dutt said that fertiliser consignment from Gujarat and Maharashtra ordered on September 9, 2020 delayed following the Railway bandh called in protest of farm reform laws in Punjab and Harayana.
Mr Dutta said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have asked the HIMFED to not allow any delay and laxity in
