Haryana deploys 1500 officials to redress farmers' grievances

Chandigarh, Sep 5 (UNI) With a view to ensuring accurate and timely verification of bajra crop data, the Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has deployed more than 1,500 officials in all districts and made a fool-proof mechanism to redress the grievances of the farmers.
As many as 7,01,061 farmers have so far registered 38,88,304.45 acres on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ (MFMB) portal, Mr Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, said here on Saturday.
He said that 727 Agriculture Graduates and 800 Saksham Yuva had already been deployed in the districts to ensure complete verification of bajra crop sown during Kharif-2020 by September 10, 2020.
