Punjab farmers launch tractor march against AAP's Land Pooling Policy

Chandigarh, July 30 (UNI):Despite heavy rainfall, farmers across Punjab staged a massive tractor march in Amritsar today, protesting the state government’s contentious land pooling policy.
Organized under the banner of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, the demonstration saw participation from farmers across various districts, including Ludhiana, where a procession moved from Balion village to the SDM office in Samrala.
The agitation, led by farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, opposes the Punjab government’s land acquisition policy, which farmers claim threatens their livelihoods.
