Haryana police uses water cannons, tear gas to disperse agitating farmers in Sirsa

Sirsa, Oct 6 (UNI) Haryana Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the agitating farmers, who were on their way to gherao the residences of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and Power Minister Ranjit Singh, after the 'Kisan Mahapadav' here on Tuesday.
Earlier, thousands of farmers attended the 'Kisan Mahapadav', organised by 17 farmer organisations, led by Haryana Kisan Manch against the new three farm laws, at Ram Leela Ground here.
At the Mahapadav, most of the farmers leaders questioned Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala whether they are with farmers or to enjoy power. They said both the Ministers are insulting the legacy of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal.
