Police station In-charge suspended in UP

Pratapgarh, Sep 29 (UNI) A police station In-charge was suspended in connection with the case of a constable shooting himself while on duty in Kotwali Lalganj of this Uttar Pradesh district, police sources said on Tuesday.
Police sources here said that the body of Ashutosh Yadav, a constable at Lalganj Kotwali, was found on the stairs at the barrack of the third floor under suspicious circumstances on Sep 25. He had died by suicide after shooting himself. The constable's body was lying on the stairs for about six hours.
The deceased Ashutosh Yadav had been deployed at the Lalganj police station on Feb 16, 2019. He had returned from his house to report at duty, some days back.
