CM Yogi Adityanath's mantra of 'opportunity in disaster' worked well in UP

Lucknow, Nov 22 (UNI) Going with the mantra of 'opportunities in Disaster' of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the State of UP has registered record production of sanitizer during Covid-19 period and has set a new record of revenue generation.
According to figures of the Excise Department here on Sunday, the distilleries and small units of the State have not only produced a record quantity of 177 Lakh litre of sanitizer from March 24, 2020 to November 15, 2020, but has also generated a record revenue of Rs.137 Crore.
As far as the sales of sanitizer is concerned, while 78.38 Lakh litre have been sold outside UP, a total of 87.01 Lakh litre was consumed in UP making it to a total 165.39 Lakh litre.
