Constable suspended on charges of bribery in UP

Balrampur, Oct 9 (UNI) After a video of a policeman asking for bribe and engaging in assault with an individual went viral on social media in the Haraiyya Satgharwa area here, the guilty cop was suspended by the Superintendent of Police (SP) on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Devranjan Verma here said that a video has been going viral on social media where Ramesh Giri, a resident of the Motipur village, has accused constable Om Prakash Yadav of demanding bribe and engaging in assault with him. The individual can also be seen having injury marks on his back in the video.
Taking the video into cognizance, the incident was probed. During the probe, the charges were prima-facie found to be correct. Following this, the guilty constable was suspended.

Sambal beneficiaries exempted from exam fees

Bhopal, Nov 23 (UNI) In a benevolent measure for daughters and sons of underprivileged families, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan directed on Monday that no fee be charged from Sambal Yojana beneficiary pupils vis-à-vis Board of Secondary Education examinations.
At a meeting with his officers, the senior politician solicited related inputs, it was officially learnt.
