UP: MP's gunner beats up constable in Jaunpur

Jaunpur, Oct 22 (UNI) An MP's private guard beat up a constable in the Madiyahun area here, police said on Thursday.
As per the police, a 'Ramrath' was passing through on Wednesday evening and the Madiyahun Kotwali police had stopped the traffic for the same. Meanwhile, BJP MP VP Saroj, who was proceeding towards Macchlishahr, also reached the spot in his vehicle.
The procession had passed by till that time and the police were allowing vehicles to pass one by one. However, the MP's private gunner alighted the vehicle behind VP Saroj's car and thrashed a constable in front of the Kotwali.
