Action against police officials if drugs found selling in their jurisdiction: Randhawa

Bathinda, Nov 12 (UNI) Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Friday appreciated the Punjab Police citing that the force has been doing great job in preventing crime and breaking the supply of drugs besides ensuring security of people in the state.
Mr Randhawa, who also holds charge of Home Department, was chairing a crime review meeting here. He was accompanied by his Special Principal Secretary Varun Roojam and Director General of Police (DGP) Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota.
While interacting with the media, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Union government is encroaching on the rights of the Punjab Government by expanding the border area in the state and they would not let it happen.
