PSWB chairperson asks CDPOs to fill vacant posts of supervisors, anganwadi workers, helpers

Chandigarh, Aug 7 (UNI) Punjab State Social Welfare Board Chairperson Gursharan Kaur Randhawa on Friday asked Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) to fill up the vacant posts of supervisors, anganwadi workers and helpers in all the blocks for better implementation of the welfare schemes and smooth functioning.
Presiding over online meeting of the CDPOs of ICDS Blocks in border districts Amritsar (Harsha Chhina), Gurdaspur (Dera Baba Nanak), Fazilka (Khuiyan Sarwar), Ferozepur (Makhu) and Tarn Taran (Bhikhiwind) under the ambit of the board, Ms Randhawa asked the participants to use mask, sanitizer, and maintain social distancing to avoid corona and make aware others.
After reviewing the performance of the blocks, thorough discussions were held for better implementation of welfare schemes for children and women at block level.
