Deputy Commissioner exhorts people to use Cova App optimally

Jalandhar, Aug. 23 (UNI) In order to ensure quick accessibility of real-time information about the availability of beds in government and private hospitals for Covid-19 treatment, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said Punjab Government has made the information available in COVA app to save crucial time in starting treatment of the Covid patients.
Deputy Commissioner said people can check the real-time status of beds across all Covid-19 facilities including private and government hospitals in the district on COVA app now. He said this new feature in the COVA app would help patients in making the decision of taking treatment in these facilities at the earliest.
Besides, he added that those who recovered from infections can also register themselves as plasma volunteers for donating blood plasma to save lives of critical patients.
