50:50 rule in MP’s schools: CM

Bhopal, Nov 28 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Sunday that schools would function at 50 per cent capacity from Monday.
“Therefore, half the pupils will attend classes on three days a week and the remainder on three other days. Such academic institutions shall have to keep conducting online classes as well. Guardians’ consent will be imperative vis-à-vis attendance. As many as 58,000-60,000 samples are being analysed daily in the campaign against the novel coronavirus. This figure shall be enhanced. The directives of the Centre and the World Health Organization will be complied with in letter and spirit. As much as 62.5 per cent of the state’s eligible population has been inoculated. During a video conference on Monday with collectors and police superintendents, I shall review the situation and issue guidelines. The state will be on full alert. I shall have a discussion on Wednesday with Crisis Management Committees,” he wrote in social media.
