Srinagar, Jul 28 (UNI) Business and other activities remained paralysed on Tuesday due to lockdown imposed by authorities last week following rapid increase in COVID-19 related deaths and fresh cases in the summer capital, Srinagar, where only essential service shops will reopen on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

However, in view of Eid-ul-Adha, which will be celebrated on August 1, the lockdown was eased elsewhere in the valley, where shops and business establishments were on Tuesday allowed to reopen, with strict guidelines, after remaining closed for five days.
