Complete 84 hour lockdown in Baramulla from Thursday

Baramulla, Apr 28 (UNI) The authorities have ordered a complete lockdown for 84 hours from Thursday in this north Kashmir district in view of unabated rise in the number of COVID-19 cases.
However, essential services have been exempted from the lockdown. “Complete lockdown shall be imposed in the entire Baramulla district from 7 PM of 29.04.2021 to 7 AM of 03.05.2021. Only essential services to be permitted,” Deputy Commissioner’s officer Baramulla wrote on its official twitter handle.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Baramulla, Rayees Mohammad Bhat asked people not to panic and cooperate to curtail the spread of the virus. “Complete lockdown from 7pm tomorrow to 7am on Monday. Please cooperate with us. No need to panic and rush. We shall be strict but polite,” Bhat wrote on twitter.
