Jammu, July 30 (UNI) The joint efforts of Indian Army and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) have completed the 170-feet Bailey-Bridge on Saturday for smooth facilitation of pilgrims to Machhail Yatra in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"The Engineering Regiment, Rashtriya Rifles and companies of NHIDCL have completed establishment of 170 feet long Bailey Bridge at Kundail in a record time and was thrown open for ease of the Yatries," said an official.
However, the Jammu-based Defence Spokesman, Lt Col Devender Anand, in a message, said, "On the request of District Administration, Kishtwar. Indian Army and NHIDCL Kishtwar jointly constructed 170 Feet long Bailey Bridge at Kundel. The bridge is now functional and open for Machhail Yatris. The Awaam and Yatris were grateful for constructing of the bridge in record time."
