Srinagar, Aug 27 (UNI) Fresh lockdown has been imposed by the administration on Thursday in north Kashmir district of Bandipora as a precautionary measure following surge in the COVID-19 cases, official said.
However, only 22 positive cases were reported on Wednesday while it was 66 on Tuesday and 65 on August 24.
Shops and business establishments were closed and traffic was off the roads Thursday in the district, where additional security forces and police personnel had been deployed to strictly implement restrictions.
