MC appeals to people to deposit property tax to by this July end

Jalandhar, July 24 (UNI) Municipal authorities on Friday appealed to the people to deposit property tax by the end of this month to take advantage of one-time settlement (OTS) policy with regard to the depositing of property tax.

Ms. Innayat, Joint commissioner, Municipal Corporation said that the persons who have failed to deposit the property tax, can deposit the principal amount in a lump sum with a rebate at the rate of 10 percent of the amount by July 31. She said that no interest and penalty would be levied on the pending property tax under this OTS policy.
