HP eases norms for multi-storey building projects

Shimla, Dec 21 (UNI) The State Government notified the Cabinet Decisions to allow the multi-storied buildings in the planning areas by exempting certain Government and Private Commercial projects by relaxing TCP rules in the name of ease of doing business and in the public interest.
Notification issued here today copy of which is with UNI approved amendment (appendix 1)and its subsequent rule 28 which mentioned that relaxation in set backs, heights of floors and buildings etc. may be allowed in Government projects in the public interest.
It further said that in case of Private constructions or projects relaxation in set backs , heights of floors and buildings etc may be considered by the competent authority keeping in view of site conditions.

UP: Six get lifer for murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005

Lucknow, March 29 (UNI) Six persons were held guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment along with a combined penalty of Rs 11.65 lakh by a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court here on Friday in more than 19-year-old case related to murder of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Raju Pal and his associates, an official spokesman said here.
