Haryana Arhti Association delegation discusses its issues with Khattar

Chandigarh, Sep 22 (UNI) A delegation of Haryana Arhti Association, led by Mr Shiv Kumar Jain, on Tuesday met Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and held a detailed discussion on the issues related to Arhtiyas.
In the meeting, Mr Khattar said that the procurement of crops of farmers is done by the government to ensure that they are benefitted and this will not be discontinued in future as well. Government procurement of wheat, paddy, millet, maize, mustard, sunflower and cotton etc. will continue in Haryana as before.
Besides this, only Haryana Government provides benefit to the farmers on several fruits and vegetables through 'Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana’. Under this scheme benefit is given to farmers by compensating the rate difference of prices as suggested by state.
