Sub-Inspector killed as police party's car overturns in UP

Jhansi, Jul 18 (UNI) A Sub-Inspector was killed when the car of the Kanpur police party, which had come to Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi for a raid, met with an accident in the Month police station area on Saturday.
Police said that the car of the police party suddenly turned turtle after losing control near the Bhujaund village in the Month police station area at around 0600 hrs. Four policemen including Sub-Inspector Manoj Patil were seriously injured in the accident.
Upon receiving information, the Month police reached the spot and rushed the injured to the Jhansi Medical College. However, Sub-Inspector Manoj Patil succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. He was deployed at the Chakeri police station in Kanpur.
