Four killed in two separate mishaps in UP

Hardoi, Aug 31 (UNI) Four people, including two women, were killed while three others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in this Uttar Pradesh district in the past 24 hours.
As per sources here, a speeding car, coming from Kannauj, lost control and rammed into an electricity pole and then an oncoming bike near the Parsola village at the Hardoi-Kannauj road, this morning.
Bike-borne Ashish (16) and Sushil (11) died on the spot while two others were injured.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
