Punjab: Tourist bus rams into parked truck; 2 dead, 8 injured

Hoshiarpur, Oct 27 (UNI) Two tourists were killed and eight others suffered injuries when their bus rammed into a roadside parked truck on the intervening night of October 26 and Oct 27 near Garna Sahib, 40 Kilometers from here.
According to the police sources, of the dead one was a woman, rest, identities of the dead are yet to be ascertained. The bodies have been kept in the mortuary of Dasuya Civil Hospital.
The ill-fated bus belonging to Samleshwari Travellers was carrying about 42 passengers. According to sources, the bus was on its way to Jammu from Chhattisgarh. When it reached near Garna Sahib, Dasuya the driver lost control over the steering and rammed into a roadside parked truck.
