One-yr-old baby dies in road accident in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 28 (UNI) A one-year-old baby was killed in a road accident in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Sunday.



Official sources said that the father of the baby was carrying him on a motorcycle early on Sunday morning when he slipped and fell on the road in Kulgam. "The baby, identified as Hamid Ashraf, was critically injured," they said, adding that the wounded was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.



They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. "Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident," they added.
