Body of drowned man fished out from Wular Lake after nine days in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 10 (UNI) Body of a man was fished out from Wullar Lake after nine days in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Thursday, official sources said.
They said a 45-year-old man identified Hussain Ahmad Khatana, a resident of Tanghat Pethkoot was drowned in Wullar Lake when he was grazing his cattle on September 2. However, despite massive searches the body of Khatana could not be retrieved.
This morning panic gripped in Laharwalpora in Bandipora when a body was seen floating in the Lake. The body was fished out and the deceased was identified as missing Khatana.
