Baby girl dies after inhaling Carbon Monoxide

Shimla, Dec 12 (UNI) A little girl died after inhaling toxic Carbon Monoxide gas from the hearth, which was kept inside the room to keep the house warm at Sariyun Gram Panchayat in Theog sub-division of this district.
Police sources said the mother of victim was sleeping in the room with the girl, when they came in contact with the gas on the midnight of Wednesday.
Locals rushed to rescue them, but baby girl Sunvy died in the mishap, while her mother, identified as Ruma, was injured in the incident.
