India should duck machinations of political class, accord priority to pandemic:Experts

New Delhi, Jul 15 (UNI) India should avoid machinations of the political class when it, along with the world, is fighting Covid-19 pandemic, as well as facing Chinese incursions, provocations from Nepal,Pakistan and concurrent calamities, experts said on Wednesday.
Amid the fast changing political developments in Rajasthan, where Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot was sacked by Congress high command from his post as well as the state party presidentship for his rebellion against CM Ashok Gehlot, experts observed that priority should be accorded to efforts to fight the COVID pandemic in the country, which has recorded over 9.3 lakh cases till now.
The experts said that at a time when the pandemic is raging across the country, the country needs a strong national Opposition that can point out the government's mistakes and keep it in check.
