New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday forecast widespread rainfall Madhya Pradesh, Vidharbha Chhattisgarh Konkan and Goa on August 28 and 29.
Heavy rains are also likely in Gujarat state from August 28- 30 due to a well marked low pressure lying over north Chhattisgarh and adjoining East Madhya Pradesh.
A fairly widespread rainfall with Isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm and lightning very likely over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh on August 28 whereas fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm and lightning likely over Rajasthan during August 29 to September 1, the national weather bureau said.
