Tripura CM Saha resigns as RS MP

New Delhi, July 4 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Monday resigned as a Rajya Sabha MP.
Saha, who recently won the Assembly bye-election from Town Bardowali seat, submitted his resignation to Chairman of the Upper House M Venkaiah Naidu here.
"Today, I have submitted my resignation letter as MP, Rajya Sabha to the Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu ji," he wrote in a series of tweets.
He also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi , BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda and party leaders for giving him the opportunity to work as the CM of Tripura.
Saha was elected to the Upper House from Tripura in March. He took over as the CM of Tripura in May after Biplab Kumar Deb quit the post.

New Delhi, August 17 (UNI) The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the enhancement in the limit of Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) by Rs 50,000 crore from Rs 4.5 Lakh crore to Rs 5 Lakh crore, with the additional amount being earmarked exclusively for enterprises in hospitality and related sectors.
