New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday praised the Corona warriors of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and said that their commitment brought good result in treating the COVID-19 patients in the national capital.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, he posted 'Commitment brings results. Selfless service and efforts of our Armed forces personnel to help the people of Delhi during this global pandemic is truly exemplary'.
'India stands proud of its brave doctors, health workers & security personnel for their resolve to serve the nation,' he further tweeted.
The Home Minister was responding to a tweet of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on Wednesday, informing that three cured patients were discharged from the Sardar Covid Care Centre and Hospital in Chhattarpur in South Delhi.
The first cured patient was discharged from the Centre on July 13.
The ITBP took over the largest makeshift 10,000 bedded Covid care Centre and Hospital at Radha Soami Satsang Beas at Chhattarpur in South Delhi on June 24 and put all facilities for treating the Coronavirus affected patients.
Named as Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre and Hospital, the Centre has more than 1000 Doctors of ITBP and other CAPFs, while 2000 more paramedical and security staffs have been deployed at the facility Centre.
