Regular train operations to resume soon

New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) Regular train operations will resume soon after a gap of nearly seven months due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The Railway Board has allowed the operation of 39 pairs of AC trains, including Rajdhani, Duronto and Shatabdi in the initial phase.
The Railway Board on Wednesday approved the operation of 26 pairs of trains with AC sleeper and 13 pairs of
trains with AC chair car. All zone general managers have been asked to start operating these trains soon.
Apart from this, the Indian Railway Tourism and Catering Corporation (IRCTC) has also announced resumption of operation of two Tejas trains from October 17.
