Rahul, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Yechury in opposition delegation to Kashmir

New Delhi, Aug 23 (UNI) Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma and CPM leader Sitaram Yechury will be part of an opposition delegation that is scheduled to visit Kashmir on Saturday.
The 12 member delegation, that will leave for Srinagar on Saturday morning, also includes AICC General secretary KC Venugopal, rebel JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav, DMK leader Tiruchi Shiva, NCP leader Majid Memon, CPI's D Raja, All India Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi and Manoj Jha of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Sources said.
The opposition delegation is going to Kashmir to see the ground situation in the valley after the repeal of the Article 370 and passage of the Bill to bifurcate the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation to Kashmir follows recent invitation by Governor Satyapal Malik to Rahul to visit the valley to assess the ground situation there.
