Rahul Gandhi condemns killing of civilians in Kashmir

New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday condemned the killings of civilians in Kashmir and said neither demonetisation, nor abrogation of article 370 could stop terrorism.
"Incidents of violence are increasing in Kashmir. Terrorism was neither stopped by demonetisation nor by abrogation of Article 370 – the central government has completely failed to provide security," Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi. "We strongly condemn these attacks on our Kashmiri brothers and sisters and send our condolences to the families of the deceased," he said.
On Thursday, terrorists killed two teachers, Satinder Kaur and Deepak Chand, who taught at the Government Higher Secondary School in the Eidgah area of the city.
On October 5, a Kashmiri Pandit M L Bindroo, a Kashmiri Muslim and a resident of Bihar were killed by terrorists in Srinagar and Bandipora.
