New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) President Ram Nath Kovind paid homage to former President Neelam Sanjiva Reddy at Rashtrapati Bhavan here on his birth anniversary on Tuesday.
He paid floral tributes in front of the portrait of the late leader, an official release here said.
Recalling Reddy, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu tweeted: "Remembering the former President, Shri Neelam Sanjiva Reddy on his birth anniversary today. He was a great son of this country. He was an astute administrator and a man of simple living and high thinking."
Reddy was the sixth President of India, serving from 1977 to 1982. Born on this day in 1913, he passed away
on June 1, 1996.
