Rupani has failed Gujarat, onus lies on PM: Congress spokesperson

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) As Vijay Rupani resigned as the Gujarat Chief Minister, Congress on Saturday said he failed Gujarat and its people and the onus lies with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Deep seated infighting in all BJP ruled states, be it Gujarat, U.P, M.P, Assam or Haryana. This show failure of PM’s & HM’s leadership," Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said in a series of tweets.
"If their anointed CM, Sh. Vijay Rupani has failed Gujarat and its people after 5 years, onus must lie at the doorsteps of Modiji. It's time to rid Gandhi-Patel’s ‘Karambhoomi’ of the machiavellian BJP & its leadership," he said.
Rupani resigned from the post on Saturday.
