New Delhi/ Noida, Oct 1 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, AICC General secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with several leaders of the Congress party, were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police from Greater Noida while he was walking towards Hathras to meet the family of the rape victim.
Mr Gandhi, along with his sister Priyanka and other senior leaders, had left Delhi on Thursday morning to meet the family of the victim.
In a tweet from its official Twitter account, the Congress said, 'the UP Police has said Rahul Gandhi has been arrested under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for violation of an order.'
