Govt did not heed my warnings on Covid, is ignoring my warnings on China:Rahul

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) In a fresh attack on the Union Government on the India China border standoff, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that the government did not pay heed to his warnings on COVID and the economy with disastrous results and was now ignoring his warnings on China.

In a post on Social media, Rahul said, 'I kept warning them on Covid19 and the economy. They rubbished it. Disaster followed.'

'I keep warning them on China. They’re rubbishing it,' the Congress leader said.

The tweet came a day after Rahul stressed the need to adopt a global vision to deal with China.

In the latest in series his videos on current issues , Mr Gandhi on Thursday said Prime
Minister Narendra Modi is focused on building his own image which was what has led to the present situation.

In the video, Mr Gandhi said,'Psychologically you have to deal with the Chinese from a position of strength. If you deal with them from a position of strength, you can work with them you can get what you need But if they sense weakness then you had it.

India has to have a global vision. It is the PM 's responsibility to give the vision. it's not there
and that’s why China's is in there today. PM is 100 per cent focused on building his own
image. India's captured institutions are all busy doing this task. One man's image is not a
substitute for a national vision ."
